I've had purchased all Ezdrummer versions and found it difficult to replicate my drumset without running 2 versions at the same time with different settings.
It would be nice at this point if they could update with a build your kit style format. I can have multiple Tom’s like 6, 7, or 8 of them. Also if they could allow fx or samples in the format, where maybe 6 blank box’s in the corner with any copy paste sample or fx could be applied.
I can’t be the only insane drummer that feals limited when this program is as great as it is.
Tired of using other generic midi one shots in a piano roll to expand my kit.

If you can afford to get Superior Drummer 3, do so. It lets you add to a kit, where EZD has those three on the right of the window. Buy Area 33 expansion, and the kit has 13 toms as standard.
I hear you but it would compete with their flagship product. That is why you can’t do those things.

I might splurge on superior drummer, but options is what helps products evolve. As musicians we need flexible tools to be creative.

I hear you, but EZD is meant for songwriters needing drums on a demo. SD is for producers and studios. A songwriter isn’t likely to need eight toms.
Area 33 is a Superior Drummer expansion. It is not meant for EZ Drummer.

As mentioned above, you have options. In this case, if you need to design your own kits, Superior Drummer is the option you should be considering. EZ Drummer is for those musicians who want drums ready to go.

Is there any coupon codes on area33? Gonna go for broke
Area 33 is a Superior Drummer expansion. EZD cannot load it.
I understand, I purchased superior drummer 3, figured I’d wait for another sale or monthly deal for area 33

In meantime, you could load your own samples into SD. One kit has 5 toms. You could, say, load one sample each into cymbals. It wouldn’t look right on the graphic, but you would have your eight toms.

If you are able to purchase two SDXs, you can always get a bundle which is three for two, which is pretty much the equivalent of the sale price TT offers.
Same goes for EZXs

Amazon always has a special on 4TB SSDs. You only need a USB-C drive since everything is loaded into memory.

SD lets you add to a kit. In the Drums tab, there’s a button towards top left marked Add Instrument.
