I assume you want to route MIDI commands from the EZKeys 2 plug-in running in your DAW to another MIDI instrument also inserted on a track within your DAW.

You have enabled MIDI Out from the EZKeys 2 Settings > General tab?

This is a very clear video on how to enable MIDI out.

If you just want to have EZ Keys play inside your DAW, you can always just drag the EZK progression & groove from the EZK timeline into your DAW.

As Brad stated, is EZ Keys instantiated as an instrument track within your DAW?

As well, do you have “Web Shop MIDI” enabled in your grooves tab? If so, you need to disable it to use MIDI Out.

Thank you all for your advice. All of it was received and all of it helped. I am new to toontrack and have most of their EZ lineup-bass, keys2, drummer3 and mix. Once again thanks for the quick responses.

No worries, we’ve all been there.

You are a geek!!!!! How the heck did you ever come across that!!! Meaning Webshop midi button cancels Midi Out!! lol

I assume Derrick realizes by now that there is a difference between EZkeys2 Standalone mode and using it from within your DAW. Wanted to mention just incase.
