Hello everyone, I suddenly have the problem that the trigger settings are no longer saved in my preset.
I usually select the “Learn Note” function in a preset to assign my instruments.
So far I have saved it as normal using “Save as”. Always worked.
Suddenly it doesn’t work anymore. I also have the error that when I assign a pad via “Learn Note” another pad is also triggered.
I use a Roland TD27 as a trigger interface.
Anyone an idea? I dont get any further. Thanks
Hi,
first I would like to know exactly where you are trying to save this preset? Is it on the ‘MIDI In/E-Drum Settings’ page?
And it is here on this page you ‘Learn’ the note?
Did you start from the Roland TD-27 Preset?
The double-pad triggering is caused by X-talk (crosstalk), there is nothing in the software that lets you trigger two different instruments with one note, so I would check cables, if there’s physical contact causing this and then review the X-talk settings in your module.

What I’d like to recommend is to get the MIDI utility MIDI-OX and run it in standalone mode. This will tell you exactly what the drum brain is sending in the way of MIDI messages. This will at least give a handle on where the problem is – whether it be in the brain or elsewheres. And for those on Macs the utility would be snoize.
