I have chosen EZBass midi from a song that is different to the song I am creating in EZKeys therefore the chord changes don’t match. Is there a way of copying the chord blocks from EZK into EZB?

there is an option in the Track Menu in EZbass to Import Chords and Song parts from an EZkeys 2 Project, so first save your EZkeys 2 Project, then Import from it to EZbass.
Hmmmm …. the option is ‘import chords fro EZKeys project” which is an .ezkp file. EZK has produced a .ezkp2 file which EZB can’t see as it is filtering files for .ezkp??

have you updated your EZbass to the latest version?
PS. I checked the standalone version and it looks the same. It looks like the Windows version of this plugin has not been updated to interface with EZK2.
Are there people on here from TT and will pick this up or should I report it as an issue with TT support?

Hi Patrick, myself and some others have been trying to get this resolved since the debut of ezkeys2. Maybe with your video they’ll understand what the issue is and do something about it. Not holding my breath anyway, but ezbass is crippled until they fix this, because it always worked with no issue. Workarounds suck and waste time, speaking for myself.

The “import chords” feature was implemented before the release of EZkeys 2 and continues to support EZkeys 1 chords for now.”
Personally I wouldn’t see interfacing EZK2 with EZK1 so that EZB can be fed from EZK1 as a fix. EZK2 and EZB are the current versions of these products and should be integrated… ideally they should be drag and drop.
A workaround that kinda works is dragging midi from EZK2 into EZB end then searching for similar grooves in EXB. This may need a bit of faffing around with midi.
After thinking about it more, I agree with you. While to me it would be better than having both apps open to do drag and drop. It would be a step closer to the workflow I had before ezkeys2, but still a workaround.
Its not the end of the world for sure, but I’m surprised that something that appears rather minor is still not fixed.
i only suggested it in case it was already a feature – many apps can export to previous major versions – but of course the true fix is to enable current version imports into current versions of peer products… like EZK2 into EZB etc… 🙂 might even be something like a minor version change to 1.1.9 to enable it… 🙂
