I currently am using several instances of EZKeys 2 to drive other vst instruments via midi out. I am not using the internal EZKeys sound libraries such as “Session Grand” for this particular project. On Win 10 the first instance of EZK2 that I load consumes approx 1250mb, the next instance consumes 1200mb. When I hover over the “Basic” selection beside EZK2 Session Grand window a popup lists “563mb”. Other selections will consume over 1000mb. I would like to load an “Empty” selection and not consume the 563mb that the “Basic” selection is consuming as I don’t need those sample libraries for my work.
This isn’t a big deal in the big picture, but I could see myself using multiple instances of EZKeys and my external vst instruments also can be memory intensive, so every bit adds up.
EZK2 is a great upgrade and I’m being quite productive with its ease of use in general.
Thanks for any info.
Hi,
at the moment you cannot have an “empty” EZkeys 2 player. If you wish this to be a future feature of EZkeys 2, I suggest you post in the “Requests & Feedback” section.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanThanks for the info, I will make a request.
The excellent EZKeys upgrade brought me back to ToonTrack and I find myself considering the other members of the EZ family as future purchases.

Thanked by: JohnAlternatively, if you have one of the older libraries, you can load them as they don’t take as much room.
