hello. i have exported a midi file from guitar pro. i then add ezbass to the bass track. its missing half the notes. the only way to hear everything is to move all the notes up one octave. then the bass sounds wrong with the way it should sound. so if i play the midi the bass notes sound exactly like they are supposed to. they are in the right octave. how do i get toontrack to trigger the right notes. or do i have to move all the notes like i have been doing. thinking about it now, even the drums sound wrong. its triggering wrong cymbals and such.
Hi,
I am pretty sure this is about some setting in Guitar Pro. Can this have something to do with it?:

yeah, most DAW also have the option to set the overall base MIDI note (e.g. C1, C2, C0, etc) and/or have a transpose function in the MIDI track controls so you don’t need to change the MIDI clip itself.

I’ve been a Guitar Pro user since 1999 and yes, there are some issues. Depending on the VSTi, you need to move all notes up or down an octave or two.
