I have EZ player Pro thinking I could one day upgrade to EZ drummer but it doesn’t appear I can. I would like to. I don’t mind $99 that’s doable but $179 is off my budget and stick with Super Drummer and Kontak Drummer series for my songwriting.

No. There is no upgrade path for EZplayer to any other line of Toontrack products.
