Hi, Im running Electronic Edge EZX inside of Superior Drummer 3. I’m Triggering the drums with Maschine MK3. I would like for the Hi-Hat Open to be Choked or cut off by the Hi-Hat Closed 1 or 2 but I can’t find a way to do it. How can I accomplish this?

Hi Jonathan

Usually your cymbals, weather it is a high-hat or other, need to be a 2 zone device and your interface will be set to peizo/switch.

I am not that familiar with the MK3, so, does the MK3 have positional sensing? Are you using an actual set of drums or just banging on your MK3?

Other than specifying your audio interface, you have not said what type of high hat it is and or who it is made by.

Electronic Edge is more a drum machine EZX than drums. It might be treating the hats as separate one shot samples without any choke groups assigned to them.
