Hi – I just purchased EXDrummer3 and am looking forward to using it, but I seem to be stuck in two places:
1. In the Product Manager, where it says to Authorize Computer for the EZDrummer Core Library, I am just not clear on where I get the Computer ID # (the instructions are less than clear – not to mention the statement that this step is not needed). I seem to have gotten past the Authorize Computer step when I was registering EZDrummer3 itself (not sure how), but now I’m stuck here, which may be connected to the next problem below:
2. When I open EZDrummer3, I get a message saying “Sound Library Issue” / “No Libraries found”
Is #2 related to #1? How do I move forward?
Thanks.
Joe
Hi,
are you sure you are using the Product Manager application and not the web interface?
The Product Manager application should not need any Computer ID and only ask for your Computer description.
When the Core library is installed and authorised, you should not get that “No Libraries found” message.

OK, so maybe I should concentrate on making sure core library is authorized and things should follow from there.
Though I wondered if it was possible that the core libray was already saved, but saved to the Onedrive as a default? Does it do that? I ask because I don’t have the OneDrive set up on my computer, so I wonder if somehow it’s there, but I don’t have access to it.
thanks!

Operating system: Windows 11
Have you downloaded and installed EZDrummer 3 Core Library from the Toontrack Product Manager?
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)
I can’t get past the Authorize part in Core Library. The instructions are very unclear (at least to me). Any clear guidance would really be appreciated.
Thank you.
Joe
After you download and install it, you will be asked to authorize
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88

It won’t let me authorize it. That’s the issue.
So after you download and install the core library the “Authorize All” button doesn’t come up in Product Manager.
Are you installing from the Toontrack Product Manager installed on you PC, not the web, yes?

After you downloaded the Core library did you run the installer for it? You need to install the library before you authorize it.
jord
When I tried to download the core library, I am now getting this message:
“Download of easy drummer, three core library has stopped. Verification completed, but the download could then not be renamed access is denied.”
By they way, I really appreciate the help on new years eve.
Joe
Where are you downloading the core library to? It’s possible you are downloading to a protected area?

No worries, though I will be stepping away soon.
What folder are you downloading to? You can find out by checking: Tools > Options.
Make sure you have the r/w authority for that folder.
