Hi, all. I’m newer to EZD3. Anyone familiar with the “Seq Hard” and “Seq Soft” hi-hat articulations?
Seems these lock the velocities in the 120s for Seq Hard, and in the 70s/80s for Seq Soft.
I just got the Vintage Rock EZX, and these show up in the articulations list for the Vintage Kit.
Would be nice to be able to edit these velocities like any other articulation as needed, but seems it’s not possible.

JohnHi,
those articulations are special and only present in older libraries. I quote a colleague’s reply:
seq (hard and soft) are Hats sequences of closed hits chopped in individual hits to guarantee a certain lineage between them. they are not velocity sensitive hence one note dedicated to hard hits and another to soft(er).
BR,
John
