i am relatively new to edrumming and EZDrummer3. i recently purchased a Simmons SD1250 to trigger EZDrummer3. Loving it so far, but i need some clarity on the hi-hat setup. the simmons module only has the following midi notes for the hi hat:
HH PEDAL: 44
HH CLOSED BOW: 42
HH OPEN BOW: 46
HH CLOSED EDGE: 22
HH OPEN EDGE: 26
HH HALF OPEN BOW: 86
HH HALF OPEN EDGE: 24
HHC SPLASH: 85
in EZDrummer3 there are a lot more hi hat articulations. Am I able to trigger the full range some how? I tried using the E-Drum Optimized setting in EZDrummer, but I don’t think anything changed. I was also unable to move the Fully Closed and Max Open points in the pedal range thingy.
Hoping someone can clear things up for me!!!
