New to Toontracks products but enjoying thus far and seems promising. I’m hoping for some guidance regarding correct time signatures when assigning midi directly into EZbass. For example, I am currently working with a project in 6/8. I’m able to assign midi notes in the editor but the grid does not seem to correspond to the correct time signature. Upon playback, everything sounds in place, but I’m not sure how to visually shift the grid from say, 4/4. It makes it challenging to be precise before saving the track for further use. I’m certain there is a work around that would make this less tedious. Likely a user error on my part. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Have you set the time signature to 6/8 in the EZbass Track Settings (to the left of the EZbass Transport)?
EZbass will not automatically detect the time signature from your DAW.

Thanked by: JimThank you Scott. Yes, I have set the time signature as instructed. To clarify, I’m introducing midi into EZbass standalone, planning to export the completed track to my DAW. However, I’m still having the issue where the grid is not corresponding to the time signature I’ve assigned.
I will keep at it, but I’m not certain why it’s happening. Surely a user error on my part, but your feedback is appreciated.
I really can’t think of anything else. I’m on PC. When I set the time sig to 6/8 in either standalone or in a DAW the Grid Editor changes to 6/8. Perhaps you’re not zoomed in enough to see the changes??
