Does the type and quality of the drum module you are using to trigger EZdrummer 2 or 3 make a large difference. Say a Roland TD15 compared to an Alesis Nitro or one of the cheap Chinese modules like a HXM or such. As it is only triggering midi notes I am assuming they should be the same is this correct or not, has anybody tried the cheaper verses the more expensive to compare, tell me what you discovered.
I have no experience of cheap Chinese modules (as I have a Roland kit), but the general consensus (forums/YouTube/retailers) seems to be that triggering responses are more consistent on the “higher end” / better quality kits (Roland/Yamaha) and less likely to fail than on some cheaper kits.
