Yesterday I bought EZ drummer 3 and its installation went fine, but when I am trying to install the core library, I get an error message “The file EZX3_EZdrummer3_BrightRoom/Soun… […] could not be copied.”
So EZDrummer 3 worksfine but therefore crashes when I use any of the new Rooms.
The log looks like this:

Thanked by: ThomasBWiiGyeah, looks like the disk was full. I was sure I chose to not install it on C but somehow I couldn’t change the installation folder.
Thank you!
Hello,
I get a similar error message:
The file “EZX3_EZdrummer3_BrightRoom/GraphicsV3/Kick/highlight-white_R.png” could not be copied.
The operation couldn’t be completed. Operation not permitted.
I have more than enough space on internal and external drive to accommodate the 15gigs. The “operation not permitted” leads me to believe it might be a rights issue? dunno..
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Where did you choose to install the core library? If it was the default location, then you may have to repair your permissions with either Disk Utility or Onyx.

Hey Jordan, thanks for responding. Yeah, it was kinda weird. I updated Sonoma to 14.5 and it seemed to install fine. I was removing old backup files from the same drive that I keep my libraries on and I think that might of caused the permissions issue. Thanks for the insight anyway.
Cheers!
Scott
it’s possible that the update to Sonoma may have fixed any permissions issues that you had. Good to see that you’re up and running again.

The following message appears when I want to install EZdrummer 3 Core Library Update.
One or more required files are missing.
Your library seems damaged. You will need to reinstall the full product before applying this update.
Despite reinstalling, I always get the same error message. How can I solve the problem.

Hi there,
You have downloaded and are installing from everything Toontrack Product Manager, installed on your PC, not from the Toontrack Website, correct?
From Toontrack Product Manager, could you please post: EZDrummer Core Library > Installation Info
