Hello,
I have a TD27 v2 that comes with a digital Hihat, ride, and snare. Toontrack doesn’t offer the td27 V2 profile as an option in edrum setting so I’m choosing the V1.
All triggers work great except for the hihat.
Should I reset all mapping associated with the Hihat and start fresh? If so, how do I choose to have the Hihat cycle through the extra opening samples for realism?
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting this tigger to work properly?
Thanks!
Actually, I haven’t used midi learn yet. I was taking the midi number displayed in ezd3 when striking the pad and typing it for the sample.
Im also unclear as to how the additional opening samples for realism get allocated and to which midi note.
I was unable to locate this information in the EZD3 manual or the Roland manuals.
Not sure off the top of my head but in SD3 using the TD50x preset works with the TD27 for the hats. Is there a TD50x preset in EZD3?
I am having exactly this issue. And the TDX 50 preset call sounds like a good idea. The TD 27 preset works with the ride and snare really well but it sounds and plays awfully on the hi hat. So the version 2.0 theory sounds good. Digital Hi Hat for TD 27 was only introduced in 2.0 as it originally only came with support for analogue hats. I’ll follow this thread as it’s the thing that’s most annoying me at the moment
i also now realise I am way behind on my updates as I am 3.0.3
There is a 50X preset. That’s a good call. I’ll try that and report back
I’m still having difficulty integrating VH-14d.
I tried mapping via “learn” but it only allows for the closed and open sound. I’m not able to get the additional “in between” open and closed samples.
im having the same issue here…
