- I have a 16th note hihat pattern.
- Then I select all the notes.
- Then using the selection tools Exclude On-Beat/Off-Beat options does not yield the expected results (see giff) as some notes are not correctly excluded

Hi,

I can agree it looks like it doesn’t do what you’d expect. I will forward this to my colleagues. Meanwhile, the Note values select options in combo with Invert selection (Shift+I) can get you there.

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply. Indeed, I use the invert selection trick quite often in combination with the exclude function as well . Just noticed today the bug with the exclude function (not sure why I have not noticed it before!).

I take the opportunitty to make a suggestion. It would be useful to enable a custom selection patern (e.g. select 1st and 3rd notes every 7 notes; where all those parameters may be user defined)
