You can separate by creating new channels so it is supported. The idea though is you get a real miked up drum kit. You can also turn off bleed altogether. The o/h is not bleed though. The instruments are routed to it unless you separate them. Do a search as there is a conversation on how to do this on here somewhere. I’m not in front of my pc so can’t explain off the top of my head.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

    Hi,

I am routing Superior Drummer 3 to Logic Pro X. Ideally I would like to separate ride and crash symbals but that doesn’t seem to be supported. Hence, I want to send less of kick, toms, snare and hi-hat to the bleed (OH) to control the symbals better.

BUT the faders on the right hand corner do not respond. If I deactivate all instruments the OH is still playing all drums. When I slide the volume bars, nothing happens.

    Any clues?

Are you saying that the faders in the bleed control properties (on the mixer page) for the overhead channel are doing nothing (they don’t work)? That shouldn’t happen. You can just toggle off the bleed from each kit piece in that box for the overheads.

Exactly, nothing happens when I toogle off or slide the bars. All the drums are playing and I can’t change the volume of them.
