How to trigger kick drum instead of floor tom

Hi all,

I am using EZdrummer 3 and I would like to trigger a kick drum sound in my floor tom. The idea would be to have my normal kick drum as it is and use this second one to simulate a double pedal.

How can I tell the software to trigger a second kick drum?

This thread should help with mapping. Metal! and Metal Machine expansion packs have two kick drums.

2 Ways…

In EZD3. Menu>Settings>E-Drums>Select Floor Tom>Select Mapping Button on the Left>Select Learn>Strike the Kick Drum on your kit. You’ve now mapped your tom to the kick drum.

or

In your drum module, map the tom to be note 36 or note C1.
