Latin Percussion is really the ONLY good ezx or sdx available for that kinda stuff. Ive been waiting years for someone else to make a collections of tambos and shakers etc…

but for some reason its just never happened

BTW: the Toontrack orchestral precision has some stuff. Buts its extremely thin on useful “modern” grooves .

TH\he orchestral sounds are fantastic, but only about 2% of the pack has anything you can use for regular songs ( rock, jazz.funk…etc)

the sounds are good but the grooves are pathetically weak, and a few different grooves. Whats with that?

    Hello 🙂

I am very happy with Superior Drummer as my main drum groove plugin. For weird and funny eletronic percussion sounds and grooves I usually use Native Instruments Reaktor. What I need is a huge library of hand percussion grooves, i.e. tambourine, conga, cowbell, bongo etc. The closest I get with my present arsenal is Stylus RMX but the hand percussion grooves in RMX are a bit of an afterthought, even though they are absolutely usable.

What is the best hand percussion groove library (and drum grooves are not interesting because that area is covered by SD3)?

    Thanks a lot in advance,

    Soren from Denmark

Thought I’d point out, in case you are unaware — which wouldn’t be surprising because TT didn’t send out a notice (at least I didn’t get one) — but the Latin Percussion with all the goodies is on sale for 40% off.

    SD3 3.4, EZK2.1.3, EZ Bass 1.3.1, Win11, i9/9900, all SSDs, 64g RAM, Cakewalk, Studio One

i use Latin Percussion probably more than other sdx or ezx. For the tambos and shakers and Congos…etc.

IT really is the only one.

Please someone make a full featured percussion SDX. ther so many possibilities!
