Hi there – super new to SD3 (but not other things) so please be kind :).
I want to modify a drum kit by adding various egg shaker, maracca, tambourine, etc and map them to a midi note to play while creating a live loop in Ableton. When I add the instruments, they are only available as ‘Future Hit Instrument’ and not as a normal instrument. After adding as future hit instrument, when I click the button to play in the UI, it sounds great. When I map it to a key on my keyboard, they behave oddly – with lag, and also like a double note (like a human would do while playing). What am I missing here? Can I not just use these sounds as a normal instrument? Also – I have tried to map these to various pads/etc as well with no luck. I am sure I am missing something here! Another question – is there a list or samples of all the sounds that come in the various SDXs?
Thanks!
Hi,
Future Hit instruments are not meant to be triggered as “normal” instruments. Please see the Manual:

Each SDX:s Product Page should have a list of included instruments.

Hi there – thank you for your response. Any chance you can tell me what expansions have classic hand instruments (shakers, maracas, tambs, etc)
