    Hi,

right-click the MIDI on your Song Track > Find > Select Containing Folder in Grooves.

Thanks, John!  That does it!  Glad they didn’t take that away!

So maybe I’m doing something wrong but that doesn’t seem to work for EZ Keys 1 projects I import to EZ Keys 2.  The option “Select Containing Folder in Grooves” is greyed out.

    Hi Tony,

first make sure you are on the latest version (currently 2.0.1). It *may* be a limitation on imported EZkeys 1 projects (I will have to check on that) but you can always ‘Search with Tap2Find’.
If the groove you used isn’t too modified and still in your library, it should be one of the top results, at least that’s how it works for me when I try with my EZkeys 1 projects.

Hey, I have notified our programmers about this. They will investigate further and hopefully fix this in a future update.

    John,

Thanks and I did update to 2.0.1 last night after posting this but no difference and Tap2Find misses it totally.  The groove is from Gospel->Straight 4/4->Verse->Verse02.  If I create the Project over again in EZK2 then it can find it.  With the imported EK1 project it doesn’t even show up in the list and the groove is totally stock.  I also get random sustain issues on projects imported from EZK1.  I’ve found my best bet is to open both 1 and 2 and recreate the project in EZK2.  That’s my workaround for now.  Appreciate you looking into this.  EZK2 is a huge improvement and I’m loving some of the new features.

I also get random sustain issues on projects imported from EZK1

We’ll look into this. Would you mind uploading an EZK1 project that causes this issue when imported into EZK2?

Andreas – Thanks.  The attached project has the sustain issue until it hits bar 13 and then all seems normal.

    Thanks a lot!

Yes, I was able to reproduce this issue using your project. We hope to fix it with one of the upcoming updates for EZK2.
