Bandmate tempo changes in daw

Hi,

So I’m having some troubles with bandmate..

Almost everytime i drag audio into bandmate it either gets too fast or to slow. We’re talking double of half tempo from what I want with my song.

So what I do is that i change the tempo in Ezdrummer. Say from 120 bpm to 60bpm. The audio file remains in the original tempo, the drums sound perfect.

I then drag and drop the drum midi into my DAW and et viola, it’s raging on at 120 bpm.

Help…?!

Set the tempo in your DAW, and EZ will follow.

Hi,

when you drag the audio file into Bandmate, you are presented with a dialog asking you about the Tempo and you get a few suggestions but can also enter a Custom value if you know that the Tempo is something else than what is suggested. Does this not help?

When your audio is in the Bandmate window you can still trim the audio file and edit Tempo. When you’re done, drag down to the Song Track and make sure your DAW is set to the right Tempo.
