HI all,
Not sure what the trick is on EZdrummer3. When I use a groove, do more auditioning and writing, and then go back to find the original I’ve used I get a grayed-out link when I use the “select containing in folder in grooves” under “find”.
Also, I get a file description that doesn’t match any description within the EZX, for what it’s worth I’m using the Latin Percussion EZX.
What do I need to do to make the “find” feature work? Any help is appreciated.
If it’s an older project and you’ve changed your midi collection location. Or maybe you went though an update before opening this current project? I’ve had a similar behavior before after doing system changes.
Start a new instance of EZD, and attempt the find feature in the new instance to check if this is the case.

Thanks,
I will try that. Appreciate all the help you offer here.
Best,
Devin

Thanked by: ShootieHi Devin,
this is because you have dragged the Congas as a Groove Part. Please see attached screen shot. Did you try the ‘Search with Tap2Find’ feature? If it’s not too modified, it *should* be one of the top results.
