Leave it with the TD50-X preset. I guess you are using the digital snare and ride as well? If you are then there will be no difference as those are the only triggers that are none standard. The presets are only a starting point.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Yes, my set up is listed below. It’s a custom kit that I’ve been setting up for the last few months.

I just got a TD-27Kv2 and I discovered that same thing last night, I’m using the 50x preset.

What I’d like to know is how to control SD3 directly from the TD-27 module, it. changing instruments etc. on the fly without using a mouse. But that’s an issue for another thread…

    That will not wotk, sorry . . . .

The only thing you can do is to build different kits and load them in a program like gigperformer for example.

So you can switch between the kits on a live gig.
