  Hi all,

   

  Using Ezdrummer 2 with Modern Metal, i love the sound i have with the kit but want to split the kick out for some side chaining and the likes.

  However when i route the kick out, the resulting sound is significantly weaker/dry than when i keep it on the standard (EZ) channel with the other instruments. The channel i’m routing to has nothing on it, just monitoring the kick. Strangely the kick in this situation sounds like its been removed from the OH/Ambiance/Comp channels in EZdrummer when i route it out. Am i missing a trick here?
