Reset velocity to original played

Sorry to bother with yet another question…

Say there is a midi part (drums) in EZDrummer 2 and all the velocity of each component is set to 127, can that be reset to how it was played original? At the moment this sounds so terrible flat… all feeling is lost if you get what I mean. Of course I now know one should stay off these settings if he does not know what it is. But back in the day I have been struggling to find a way to learn.

See attached image, it is very “flat”….

Any help is much appreciated.

Are you using ezdrummer as a plugin or standalone? Some DAWs have a ‘humanise’ setting to put the velocities more at random. Ezdrummer 3 has ‘randomise’ and ‘humanise’ in the grid editor. I don’t know what either of them does, as I can’t make grid editor work. Neither do I know if ezdrummer 2 has it.

Hi Mick, I am using EZD2 in Cubase 12.

I know the humanize function ans I can see how you mean it.

Still wondering if the back to original settings/velocity option is out there.
