Hey Kids,
I’m using EZBass with Sonar Artist and EZDrummer. All works quite well and I’ve had no problems…. until now.
I’ve started a new song and I had a bass line that was okay and the playback was normal. Then I decided to alter the bass manually by basically re-writing it in the piano roll of EZBass with an import of midi notes. I can play the bassline back in EZBass, but when I try and playback the entire song, Sonar only plays back one click of the high-hat and then stops.
I thought it was something in Sonar, so I restarted the software and opened a few other songs and they worked fine. I re-opened this song I made the bassline changes to and it does the same thing… Play “Click” stop.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Not in Studio One, but have run into this in Cakewalk. IIRC, if you’re solely working in EZB and EZD grid editors, with nothing at all in the timeline, the Daw doesn’t see anything in the timeline so immediately stops.
SD3 3.4, EZK2.1.3, EZ Bass 1.3.1, Win11, i9/9900, all SSDs, 64g RAM, Cakewalk, Studio One
Ah….so the answer there is to make sure there is something in the timeline…. I’ll give that a shot and let you know what happens.
Thanks!!
