NEW YORK STUDIOS VOL.1 SDX (N.Y Avatar SDX) has a preset called “Let it bleed”. Can anybody please explain what the hell is going on there. I have some misunderstanding of the routing.
Hi Roman,
could you please elaborate? Do you feel that something is wrong?
I would say that what is different from many of the other presets in that library is that all the bleeds are enabled for the active microphones.

I can’t figure it out how bleeds are routed into “bleed” and “oh bleed” channels.
For the direct mics there are sends, I understood. But for the bleeds I can’e see any send.
John, unless I’ve missed something, there seems to be some wonkiness with that preset. There are no microphone routings or bus outputs/sends to the channels Roman indicated in his screenshot. I’ve seen another like that. I may have to dig it up.

Been trying to figure it out myself… Jord…. so far it’s a mystery….
Going to install SD2 on a VM and see if there’s any insight as the SDX is from SD2 days.

Hi,
yes, I see what you mean. Well, it makes more sense when you open it in Superior Drummer 2, which this Factory Preset was created for. There is another Bus Send visible in the SD2 mixer above the direct Sends, sending only the bleed. The Bleed Bus is actually there in the SD3 mixer as well but something isn’t translated correctly in this preset from the SD2 mixer to the SD3 mixer. I’ll forward this to my colleagues.

John
