The Grid Editor is a grid with the instruments displayed horizontally on the left. A series of lines are displayed vertically. A tilted square at the intersection of a horizontal location with a vertical location represents a note played on that instrument at that time. My questions have to do with the lines and placement of squares.
- What do the vertical lines represent? Quarter notes? If not, what do they represent?
- Placing squares on the lines creates sounds on the beat. But, how would you create sounds “offbeat”? It seems as if the squares only want to be located on the vertical lines. So, if that is the case, how do you create sounds “offbeat”?
Thanks!
