Main screen Bass not displaying individual Notes when playing Groove tracks?

  I’m a new bass player so maybe this issue is a user error but…

  Main screen Bass not displaying Notes when playing Groove tracks?

  Main screen bass when hitting strings as a standalone with mouse the notes are shown.

  When I drop a groove track and play.. notes are not shown.

  See screen shot.

  Is there a fix?
