ShootieIf I have a Groove in the Song Track it is segregated into three tiers vertically. The colored Song Part at the top of the groove, the chord in the middle, and the midi blocks at the bottom. When using the Split Tool, I can only cut one of these three tiers at a time by clicking with the Split Tool. So I have to click three separate times just to separate my Groove once. Is there a key command or method to cut all three tiers at once? Or maybe my method of thinking is off?
Thanks for reading!

Do you have all the tiers selected before using the split tool, or is just one of them selected? Make sure they’re all selected and then click in the time ruler above the top tier.

JohnYes,
Billy 86 is right; if the part is selected, all three rows are split. If you cut in an unselected part, you will split/cut where the cursor is placed.
To quickly change tools when the Song Track is active: 1=pointer, 2=pencil and 3=split
