I’ve ultimately started having an issue using the Tap2find feature.
Whatever MIDI device I use to play the instruments it duplicates all the notes I play.
I’ve noticed that it capture also the key release. Eg. using the C1 key on my keyboard to play the kick, it records 1 note when I press the key and 1 note when I release it.
Here a Video you can see the problem
You can see that after the Kick is recorded another Kick note appears when releasing the midi key.
Any help is really appreciated
You’ve implied that you’ve used more than one mid controller and have the same problem. You don’t mention which controllers.
If it was a single controller I would recommend reading up on that controllers manual since it is triggering a note on release and turning that function off. I’ve never heard of EZ being at fault for something like this. There’s a midi light in the lower right hand corner of the main interface. It lights up when EZ receives a midi message. When you release a key, does that light blink? If so, I believe it’s your controller.

I tried with a keyboard and a a midi pad. Same issue.
This happens only when using the tap2find.
Recording a track using Ezdrummer as instrument works as expected. So with any other vst instruments I have.
Reading the forum is something happening to others recently.

Yep, as you’ve noted that this issue has appeared elsewhere in the forum
and another respondent has stated in that thread:

FYI!
I have the same problem and contacted support.
They replied to me:
“Thanks for your email and sorry for the trouble. This is a confirmed bug in the current version of EZD2. A fix will be made available in the next EZD2 update, however we do not have the confirmed release date. The Product Manager will display the new update as “not installed” to the left of the PM once it is available.”

Thanked by: ShootieI have the same problem and it makes it difficult if not impossible to use the software properly to find beats.
THIS IS A HUGE FLAW and for my purposes renders EZ DRUMMER far less useful.
