in ezbass and ex drummer 3, when i select any groove and try and drag it from the VST plugin opened in cubase 12 pro. everytime it bring up this same incorrect midi file every time. and ez bass always adds a new track, the sysex data (which i don’t want.) i should say they just started doing this and wasn’t doing this before. Please can you help? as everything is useless now.

To not get sysex data separately in Cubase for EZbass MIDI, turn off “Auto Dissolve Format 0” in Cubase preferences > MIDI > MIDI File.

Are you still getting the same MIDI when you drag from EZD3 to Cubase? Is there no error dialog in EZD3 when you drag out MIDI? What about if you drag to the desktop, do you get the same incorrect MIDI file then too (you can check it by dragging it back to the EZD3 track)?
