I’m using SD as a plugin within Logic. If I wish to get the stereo output from SD (not each drum channel as a separate file), I see 2 options. I can bounce the stereo file within SD and then bring the stereo file into a new Logic audio track. I can also output the SD software instrument track to a bus and record that to a new Logic audio track in real time using the same bus as an input.
I’ve done both and don’t hear a difference in the resulting files. Is there any advantage to one method over the other?
Beginner stuff, I know, so thanks in advance.
In this case, there is no real advantage. If one way suits you better than the other, go for it.

Thanks for the reply. These 60 yr old ears heard no obvious difference but it was helpful to get some confirmation.
