Hi- I am running Logic Pro 10.7.4 on Macbook Pro M1 Max under Monterey 12.4. I had ZERO issues with EZ Drummer 3 until I updated it this morning…. Now, the multi-outs in the EZ Drummer 3 mixer are not showing up in Logic…. This is extremely frustrating, as I am not interested in producing STEREO drums….. I also have Superior 3, and could just use that, but I am really digging the EZ Drummer 3 interface mre and more- any ideas Toontrack?? Did you guys jump the gun on this update perhaps?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I am running the same setup here and as you can see from my screen shot, I have no problem running 3.0.3 with MultiOut in Logic.
Have you tried resetting the plug-in in the plug-in manager? Alternatively deleted the AU cache?
What happens if you open my attached Logic project?
BR,
John

Thanked by: Bradley HagenHi John-
I did exactly that, and it now works flawlessly!! Thanks a bunch!
I use Cubase Elements 12.0.30. I export a complete mix or just the drums from Cubase and then listening to the exports the drums is silent from the start of the song and then jumps in randomly after 5 sec och about 1 minute in the 2 projects I have tested exporting from. There’s also problems listening to EZD3 just working with a song in cubase, the drums is sometimes silent from the start and then “kicks in ” randomly. There’s no issues exporting guitars, midi = only EZD3. I have reinstalled 3.0.3 but it didn’t help. I still have Ezdrummer 2 installed and it’s no problem exporting from cubase and EZD2. Anyone else experienced this?
I have a similar problem with EZ Drummer 3.0.3 and Superior Drummer 3.3.2 as well since they have been updated to these versions.
My DAW ist Cubase 12 Pro. When I start playing a project the drummer doesn’t always start to play. I have to start the project several times until the drummer plays.

Do you have the MIDI on the song track inside the plug or on the Cubase track? If the former, does it help to move the MIDI to the Cubase track?
Also, please try moving the playhead in Cubase to some position late in the song and starting, then move to the beginning and play.

Thanked by: BebopaluciferThanks to Nils and Olof!
I tried moving the playhead in Cubase to a position late in the song and pressed 1 to jump to the beginning and that have worked now for 2-3 hours. great workaround! 🙂
I have tried to export a mix 3 times today but the drums are not present in the beginning of the song. In the first export drums comes along after 3-4 sec and the 2nd time after about 1 minute.
In my case I have often a short MIDI Track with some count in beats beginning at bar 1. These seem to work proberly.
The in EZdrummer I have the internal tracks normaly beginning with grooves at bar 3. And these are often not played when I start the song from the beginning.
Sometimes it works but not always.
Thanks to Nils and Olof!

I have examined this issue in Cubase more closely now. It seems to behave like this: If the plug window has not been opened since the Cubase project was opened, every time you stop playback in Cubase, the position is remembered by the plug (EZD3 or SD3) and the next time you start playback (or export), MIDI from the song track inside the plug will not be played until the playhead comes past that position. If the plug window has been opened at least once after opening the project, also moving the playhead in Cubase updates the remembered position.
Before we release an update with a fix, here are some workarounds:
