Hi folks — sorry if this obvious, I may be daft. Really loving Ex Drummer. However, when working in Logic Pro X, I can’t drag and drop midi or audio files from Logic Pro into EZD while both are open in my project. Is there something that I am missing? Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks!

EZdrummer version: 3.0.1
Operating system: macOS Big Sur (11)
I don’t believe Logic Pro supports drag and drop from the DAW to a plug-in. You will probably have to export MIDI to your desktop and import into EZD3.
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)
Brad is correct. Drag and drop within Logic have entirely different functionality geared to Logic itself. You would need to export your MIDI or audio to use in EZD3.

Thank you folks for the replies. I thought I was missing something, as is often the case with new software! Cheers all
You can record the MIDI from the Logic track into EZDrummer’s Song Track
using its [Record] function on EZDrummer3’s Transport Bar.
