Hi, this is probably a really annoying one but here we go…
I’ve got a Mark Drum Yes electronic kit. Despite its many quirks, I’ve managed to get it mapped to EZDrummer with the exception of the Hi-Hat, which I can’t seem to get the open/close to function on. I use Logic and I was able to map it there using Scripter – Logic’s Midi remapper- and Drumkit designer and the hi-hat works perfectly. I was hoping I could just add the Scripter to the same channel strip as EZDrummer and have that essentially control the mapping of the plugin but that doesn’t work.
EZdrummer only recognises a single MIDI note when I close the pedal – the cc-4 only appears if I do a splash. Because of this the plugin is seeing the Hi-Hat note as being the same, regardless of if it’s open or closed.
Has anyone encountered that problem? I’m feeling now like I might have to get something Edrumin and buy another hi-hat, but I’d love if I could get mine to work.
Thanks in advance
