I used to remap MIDI with Roland TD-27 Preset and they would be maintained in a Project save. Now it no longer saves. I’ve tried saving MIDI preset in MIDI/Edrum settings, setting as default, etc. Nothing. I’m not sure if my library or preset paths may be wrong after re-install?
Remap of my first drum pad in note 27 to note 48 shown. Save Project As. Re-open project, and “Use Preset” still shows asterisk (that it has been remapped) but plays unmapped note.
Hi,
if I save a Project with another modified MIDI Preset, it opens as modified. Even tried your exact note mapping. But if I start with the TD-27 preset, I get the same result as you, so I have to forward this to my colleagues.

Thanked by: MatrixV01Thank you for confirming you were able to reproduce the issue. I tried a couple other MIDI Edrum Presets also and it seemed like “Default” may have worked correctly once or twice but none of the Roland ones did.
Hi, I’m having what appears to be a similar problem starting from the TD-20 builtin preset. I can set my kit up as I need and save everything as I used to, but when I reload SD3 the mappings are reset to the map defaults. SD 3.3.1, no SDX.
Steps to reproduce:
Result is the custom mappings are gone; I get the TD-20 preset.
Sounds like a problem in the latest version then with various presets.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
Sounds like a problem in the latest version then with various presets.
Hi, yes, this has been confirmed to be an issue in the latest version of Superior Drummer 3 and our development team is working to fix the issue. The bug affects how the mapping saves in general.

Thanked by: André LucasNot that the devs need my confirmation, of course, but anyway: I can confirm that without changing anything else, uninstalling SD 3.3.1 and installing SD 3.2.8 has got everything working normally again. Mappings save as expected.
