    Hi,

did you figure this out or are you still in need of help?

If so, please elaborate on whether you hear everything coming out from Cubase in your MON L/R path in the Console or if you are missing the signal from Cubase in your Cue1/Cue2 headphone path.

    BR,
    John

We’re recording the analog instruments through the console into Cubase and hearing everything coming out in the L/R path in the Console.
EZdrummer is set up into a virtual channel track directly in Cubase. You can see that the EZdrummer sound is playing by seeing it in the Master channel output (signal moving up and down) when playing the EZdrummer track, but can’t hear it in the headphones that is connected to the console.
The analog tracks, that were recorded through the console can be heard through the headphones however.

Why would you be using a virtual channel? Are you not instantiating EZD3 as a plug-in within Cubase?

Sorry, I meant a MIDI track. We use the EZD2 plug-in. Not 3.

    Hi,

I am a it puzzled… if you hear the output of what is playing in Cubase through the speakers and headphones, but not EZdrummer 2, they can’t be set to the same output in Cubase and therefore not in the Console. And I am assuming you are using CUE 1 and/or CUE 2 as headphones output?

If I record a vocal through the 8xp, I can hear the direct signal through the MON path in my speakers but if I have headphones connected to CUE1, I need to send the vocal signal to CUE1 to hear the vocal in my headphones.

    BR,
    John
