    In SD3; Settings > Audio/MIDI Setup > Audio Device.

What is the lowest allowable Buffer Size? What driver are you using for the Audio Box?

I apologize I’m slow at pc tech, so the driver version is 10.0.19041.1    so it seems like every odd time it gives me block size I want at 64 and the latency is at 2.4 and buffering is about the same, but most of the time when sd3 starts up it knocks it down to 256  , when the audio box block size is at 256  the latency  is 7.5 buffering 5.8   but performance on e drums seems fine jus slow start up,  the times it stayed at block size 64 , start up was 10 seconds, otherwise  256 about 50 sec    hope this makes sense to you lol tried attaching screen shots on here couldn’t figure out

No worries. Although I have worked in a windows environment, my rig is on Mac. Is there any other application using the audio box (browser with YouTube for example) at the same time?

I do use utube while playing edrums with sd3 but I don’t open up utube until sd3 is up and running,  ive watched the sound box setting at 64 change to 256 at the exact moment sd3 drum kit loads ,  like I mentioned the weird thing is I’m guessing every 1 out of 20 start ups the block size stays at 64 and latecy and buffering numbers on sd3 are very low around 2.4 each

Figured it out just a click on midi device that is already showing click again and it changes the latency and buffering  to what  you request for block size      thanx anyways
