    Hi,

the Swing value you apply, is considered applied when you leave that edit. It is not something you can revert back or change the amount of at a later time. Quantizing works the same way; while you are editing the part in question, you can change the amount but once the edit is left, it is applied.
This is not to be mixed up with Undo, you can of course Undo edits.

    John,

Thanks for the reply. Just so I understand. So, if I change the swing value on a portion of a song, it immediately takes effect and changes the grove? That’s why when you come back to the Gove, it doesn’t show how the swing value was set?

If that’s the case, say I change the swing value to 50 for a portion of a song, then want to change it back to zero – essentially erasing the swing setting for the grove, how do I do that?

This seems confusing to me. In Pro Logic, when you set a swing value for one of its virtual drummers, it stays set so you can adjust it up and down or remove it all together.

or implementation of swing to be honest. In other drum plugins u can just set the global swing value. makes it much faster to audition the patch with swing. Here you have to drag the midi to the grid editor and then adjust the swing. lengthy process if ur auditioning many grooves. Additionally as you said, when you set the swing and go back to the clip, the swing value shows 0 but the midi has been shifted. Wouldve expected better from such an extensive and expensive drum plugin
