    Those genres have more to do with mix processing than drum samples themselves. All of this is possible with the Core Library.  Gated & short reverbs on the snare (and toms) and heavier compression on the ambient channels were more prominent back then. There is even a mix effect in SD3 called 80s reverb.

    As for such grooves, there are a number of MIDI packs such as AOR & west coast and can fit your needs.

    I know , lots of the 80’s , 90’s drums where mixed and processed, but in those times, producers, sound engineers , knew what they where doing.

    Deffently , superior drummer have lots of mixing feature, fx, etc, which can really shape the sound.

    Unfortunly, i am not an expert in superior drummer,

    but maybe i should give it a try, to create those

    80’, 90’ drum sound.
