So far I am LOVING EZDrummer 3. Great sounds, and it is SO much easier to record and edit midi content from my own e-drums.
I was hoping to take some existing works-in-progress that I started with EZD2, and move them into EZD3. But EZDrummer 3 doesn’t seem to recognize my project files from EZD2, which is both surprising and disappointing.
I know I can export the midi from the original projects, but then I’ll lose things like the ability to find the sources of each individual pattern.
Usually new tech products have some kind of backwards compatibility. Is there any cool trick for opening an EZD2 project in EZD3?
Please let me know – thanks!

Hi there,
Yes, save your project in EZD2 and then in EZD3; File> Import Ezdrummer 2 Project….
