Working with the grid editor today, and the… idk what it’s called, playback bar? Timeline indicator? It’s moving ahead of the notes played by about a 1/2 note. It’s a bit disorienting, since the “hits about to come” don’t sound as they pass the bar. Was present in 3.0.0 for me as well.
Reaper 6.57.
I am seeing this too along with other users We all have different versions of Reaper spanning from the latest version to 5.98 so it doesn’t seem to be a specific version of Reaper.
Hi guys,
isn’t this happening simply because you have latency inducing plug-ins further down the audio path?
Do you see this in a project with only SD3 active?

It’s EZ3, not SD3 and there are no other plugins but Ez3. I will try it with just EZ3 and let you know but in my current project it is just EZ3 and an acoustic guitar track.

Thanked by: GrahamHi,
I’m running Reaper 6.73 with EZdrummer 3.0.5 here and not seeing any signs of playback not synching with the Playback cursor in the Grid Editor.
Have you updated both Reaper and EZdrummer 3?
BR,
John
