Is it pulled from existing midi parts

In song creator will EZD3 look at the midi file from bandmate and then look for ‘similar’ patterns in the existing collection

Yes. EZD3 does not have the capability of creating its own drum patterns. Bandmate detects transients in the imported audio, and then looks for patterns where the bass and snare line up with these transients, using an algorithm to select and suggest the ‘best’ patterns.

If I have other non Toontrack grooves, will bandmate also use those?  I assume it will so long as they are in the right folder?

At the moment EZD3 does not utilise the user midi folder or linked folders.

I’ve read posts from Toontrack forum moderators which suggest that may change in future updates.
