Hi all,
i just purchased ezd3 and installed it to my win10 64Bit system. All runs fine and I’m pretty happy with the stand alone. But unfortunately I can’t find it in the vstis. I also have ezd2 and it runs well without any issues. Do I need to keep ezd2 or can delet it from the system now? Actually I just want to work with ezd3 but have trouble to put it in the correct path. So, what is the path for it, or what are the steps I have to follow?
thanks for helping an pc idiot🤯🤪 asap
Hi Stefan
When you start installation of EZD3 you should have been given an option to choose installation directory or just accept the default one.
If you just accepted the default one then it’s probably on your C drive in Program Files>Toontrack folder. In that folder you should have a VST folder as well.
Just run your Cubase and rescan your VST plugins.
I would keep the EZD2 installed as this gives you access to all the content that came in with EZD2.
EZDrummer 3 does not replace EZDrummer 2, it’s a separate application.

You should not have to worry about where the EZdrummer 3 plug-in was installed, since it is a VST 3. Cubase and other VST 3 hosts should automatically pick it up (unless you move it, which you shouldn’t). In Cubase, it can be found in a Drum submenu, I believe.
