Forget that – I should have specified Reason 10 doesnt support Vst3 – Reason 12 does

Reason 12 doesn’t as yet but promises it will before the next upgrade i believe?

So in the meantime reason users are paying for something which don’t work but ez drummer 2 does work ?

I had EZ Drummer 2 demo and purchased 3 on the strength of 2 and also found out the hard way that it is only vst3 and I am also a Reason user. I understand the need to move towards vst3 as it is more efficient but assumed it would offer a vst2 option. There is a fix for this until Reason updates there system called Metaplugin. It works perfectly on my Win 10 comp. Unfortunately it costs $59.00

I was burned by this as well. EZD2 worked even though Reason was not on the compatibility list, so I stupidly bought 3 and a refund was refused when I discovered it would not work in Reason. I didn’t even get to use it. So I have a useless version of EZD and a bad taste in my mouth from both companies.
