I am constantly re writing midi loops for superior 3 with every session. What is the easiest way to save and use my own midi with the program. Can anyone point me to a specific technique?
Im certain this question has been asked before
Hi,
I’d say create a sub folder structure that makes sense to you (e.g. Rock/Hard Rock/UpTempo) in your ‘User MIDI’ folder at the bottom of the MIDI libraries list and when you have modified or created grooves on your Song Track, just drag them to the appropriate folder there.
Once it’s in your ‘User MIDI’ folder(s), you can right-click the groove and ‘Rename’ it.

Actually, I have to say I should re-word this. I am in pro tools latest version, and windows, and I am unable to simply drag a midi clip from an instrument track in pro tools, into superior drummer 3 and have it save it in my user library. I feel like I am doing something wrong. Is there a specific area of superior drummer 3 that I should drag it into other? I am in the grooves section ->User midi?
I have a few old midi grooves in this folder -> documents – toontrack ->ez drummer – midi .. and I have to rescan and they did show up, however.. its incredibly cumbersome to not be able to simply drag and drop
Thanks for the quick reply.
Aha, OK, please see my reply in the other thread.
