It would be great to implement an audio player in SD4, to be able to play drums over our songs without using a DAW or external audio player. It’s the only thing I’m missing right now!

Well, you can actually load a song on an Instrument slot but you are of course limited to starting and stopping the song, no pausing so if you stop the triggered wave file, it starts from the beginning of next trigger.
Anyways, this feature has been requested by other users.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
