I love to write songs with my daughters and do some home recordings just to do something fun as a family.
Songwriting and song structure layout etc…………. is not something I’m good at.
I would absolutely LOVE to have Toontrack offer – my favorite songs – in a complete drum structure layout midi pack that I could purchase.
Song creator does this – however my favorite songs – structures – are nothing like what’s in song creators list of (7-8 ?) options.
The midi pack would say something like – 80’s rock hits – It would be laid out like song creator – ( A-B-A-B-C-BB etc…………) but it would be midi drum files that would be the individually pieced song structure template(s) – (Intro – V – Ch – Bridge etc…..) – but of my favorite songs – but just obviously the drum parts etc………
Say – I’m writing an original guitar riff and I know I want my song layout to be just like – “Bark at the moon” – (Intro – V – Ch – Bridge etc…..) ???
I could purchase that exact song drum files structure template and then easily drop that songs finished drum backing track song writing structure template and I’d have that song structure all done and laid out for me and now I can add in my DAW – my original verse riff in the verse section – my original chorus riff in the chorus section- bridge – solo – etc………. because I can easily see the song structure layout template of that song already done.
I love my toontrack products – this songwriting structure template layout is one area I really wish I could easily purchase to help me start off when I’m writing my own original songs.
I hope that I’m not the only one that could benefit from this.
Anyway just thought I’d share my toontrack idea.
